How to maintain your yacht?
Yachts are like your girlfriend, they need maintenance. A good yacht needs good daily maintenance to extend its life and work normally. Therefore, learning some basic maintenance knowledge of yachts is the most practical and effective for maintaining yachts, and at the same time, it can also ensure that the yachts go out to sea safely.
1. Clean and care regularly. Any machinery and equipment need regular cleaning and care, and yachts are no exception. This is the easiest and most important way to maintain a yacht. Daily cleaning can not only keep the yacht clean and beautiful, but also reduce the abrasion on the surface of the yacht. For the part of the yacht above the water level, waxing can be used for maintenance; for the part below the water level, antifouling paint is required, and the antifouling paint should not pollute the water source as much as possible.
2. The correct mooring is very important. Many scratches on the yacht's hull are often not produced when the boat is in use, but worn when the boat is docked. Therefore, pay attention to the tightness of the cable when docking at the dock, and it should not be too loose or too tight.
3. Regularly maintain the yacht's engine. Make sure to flush the engine every time you go to sea and check the fuel tank for rust, damage or corrosion of the fuel line. Finally, check the oil level of the fuel tank and whether the cooling meter is working properly.

4. It is very important for the bilge pump to work properly. It is necessary to always confirm whether the bilge pump is working properly. If it fails to work properly, the bilge water cannot be discharged in time, which may easily cause a shipwreck accident. If you need to use the pump, you also need to ensure that the battery system can support the long-term operation of the pump.
5. Maintenance of the battery. If the yacht uses conventional lead-acid batteries, you need to check the battery level frequently, and at the same time ensure that the battery is kept away from dust and moisture.
The above common sense of maintenance needs to be completed on a regular basis to ensure the safety and beauty of the yacht and prolong its service life!
