Chinese traditional festival-Qingming Festival

Festival introduction:

Qingming Festival,also known as Outing Festival,Xingqing Festival,March Festival,Ancestor Worship Festival,etc.,takes place between April 4th and 6th every year.It is a festival for worshiping ancestors and sweeping tombs.It originates from the ancestor beliefs and spring ritual customs in ancient times. It has both natural and humanistic connotations. It is not only a natural solar term but also a traditional festival.It is also called the Chinese New Year,Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival,Four major traditional festivals.

Festival customs:

The custom of sweeping tombs and worshiping ancestors during the Qingming Festival has been passed down from generation to generation and has become a fixed etiquette theme.During the Qingming Festival,no matter where they are,people will return to their hometowns to participate in ancestor worship activities and remember their ancestors.Qingming Festival has rich and diverse customs,including tomb sweeping,outing,tree planting,kite flying,swinging,willow shooting,Cuju,etc.

Cultural connotation:

Qingming Festival is the most solemn ancestor worship festival of the Chinese nation.It embodies the national spirit,inherits the sacrificial culture of Chinese civilization,and expresses people's moral feelings of respecting their ancestors and continuing their aspirations.

We will be on holiday from April 4th (Thursday) to April 7th (Saturday),a total of 3 days,and will return to work on April 7th (Sunday).
